Somatic Strength Defined

Somatic Strength integrates exercise science, energetic anatomy and yoga philosophy for a truly holistic experience. We will lift weights, punch and kick pads and bags, and we will breathe deeply into the crevices of the mind and body that need invigoration and empowerment. My mission with Somatic Strength is to help you develop deeper devotion to your body and its incredible strength and resilience. We only get one body. One body to play, to grieve, to express, and to rest. And the more we consciously choose to put our body under different challenge and stress physically, the more we know how to breathe, find center and adapt when life’s mental/emotional challenges begin to creep in.
